Region 7: Near North

The only region with no lake or ocean coastline. However, this does not translate into no diving. Located in the heart of Southern Ontario the showcase park is Algonquin. The region features a large series of Lakes and waterways that offer plenty of diving. The diving zones are a fair distance apart, allowing for leisurely drives and pursuits of other outdoor activities.

Take a leisurely drive down some roads and you can follow the highway underwater and visit towns that were submerged by the damming up of many rivers

For more adventure the region also offers some world class white water rafting and kayaking
